SKA'D FOR LIFE

My last art assignment for the year, which was to redesign a CD cover. This looks more like a concert flyer but I really didn't want to crop out the tie.

I chose The Specials because their aesthetic is pretty simple, what with the black and white and the fact that their most recognized symbols are a checker pattern and a generic rudeboy. Though my style gives it kind of a Toasters kind of feel, I think. If I knew the name was going to be that hard to read I would have done something different with the smoke. Sad face.

This is destined for the scrap-heap, just let me revel in how well I handled that sharpie.
